MOA Workshop 7 Where people fine-tuned their frequencies

MOA Workshop 7 Where people fine-tuned their frequencies

It literally took years for the Radio Industry to revolutionize from “Namaskar! Ye Aakashwani hai” to “Good Morning and Welcome to our Radio Channel.” The energetic voice of RJs at any time of the day could shoot the battery up of an individual. All thanks to the private Radio Channels for focusing on the communication skills and engaging power of RJs before handing them the mic and coffee mug.

The team of Thalagiri was scratching its head on the next workshop while listening to the radio and there popped up an amazing idea for Master of Arts Workshop 7. RJ Gaurav Bhatt from 92.7 Big FM was asked to conduct a session on the basics of Radio and he merrily nodded. Thus, on 10th April 2016 exactly at 1 PM, the folks of Udaipur started turning up at Ranaji Restaurant to listen to the Radio Jockey.

RJ Gaurav initiated the workshop with amazing activities. He wanted all the attendees to engage in those activities. Thus, the surprise gifts by Gaurav became the motivation factors for everyone.

He then went back in history to explain the people the origin of Radio that how merely waves transformed into a medium of communication. Following an interesting timeline, he narrated the present scenario of the Radio Industry and the scope that it holds.

One of the prerequisites of a “Cool” Radio Jockey is SOFT SKILLS. Gaurav knows this well and hence talked about the importance of having excellent Soft Skills in life. Talking specifically about the Radio Industry, he mentioned that tuning to a frequency doesn’t mean there is someone who is talking about something in a closed room with a mic and a computer. Rather, the efforts by various departments captivate the listeners for a long time. He then gave a brief about each and every department.

Due to new field and new experience, people had a plethora of questions racing in their mind. Therefore, towards the end of the session, RJ Gaurav resolved the queries of the attendees.

All in all, it had been a terrific workshop with oodles of learning. Thalagiri.com sincerely expresses its gratitude to RJ Gaurav for being an enthralling host, Ranaji restaurant for bestowing the workshop with an elegant venue and of course to all the attendees for blessing the session with their presence.
