When the Sun of 11th June 2016 set, there was a vibe of enjoyment, fun and entertainment in the air for it was the time to conclude the month-long fiesta – Master of Art Carnival 2016. A grand cultural evening marked the end of the carnival, which had more than 40 workshops in Udaipur and more than 50 in the pink city, Jaipur.
With an aim to develop as well as support the creative spark of the people, a plethora of amazing workshops were conducted at three distinct venues in Udaipur – CPS School, Celebration Mall and Thalagiri Workplace.
If some filled the forms of Drama Workshop, some had a tilt towards Guitar Workshop. If some loved Chocolate making Workshop, some enrolled themselves in Cooking Workshop. All in all, Thalagiri received an overwhelming response from the people.
The month-long carnival came to the edge with an enthralling cultural evening wherein the participation by the people robbed us of speech. With Alka Sharma mam, director of CPS school and Deepak Sharma sir, Rockwood's school as the chief guests, the evening witnessed dance and drama performances by the children of Jatan (NGO). These performances were followed by performances by the participants of MOA Carnival. The students of Vilas Janve Sir then stole the limelight with their theatre and drama performance. Towards the end, the audience plunged into the music of Desert Rockk Band.
If participants were bestowed with a certificate for their participation in the carnival then Artists who conducted various workshops were also honoured for their contribution.
Master of Art Carnival 2016 was a big success. All thanks to the participants and the artists for their active participation and generous contribution. Lastly, it bids adieu but with a promise to do such activities regularly.
